Price for Super Red Hawk

I'm looking for a good .44 Mag, Single Action wheelgun. I have priced a couple NIB at around $500.00. Is that price too high, and should I keep looking.

$500 seems cheap to me. My local gun shop takes the list price, and jacks it up another $50 or so.

If your finding new Super RedHawks for 500 bucks, buy as many as you can! Thats a fantastic price! You rarely see them for anything less than 550 bucks.

But they are Double Action...single actions are the blackhawk series.

500 for a Super BlackHawk is a bit on the expensive side of things though...i can get them new in the box for right at about 400 in several different barrel lengths.
