Price check...Smith & Wesson models 638 & 642

I'm trying to decide between a Smith & Wesson model 638 & 642 for concealed carry. Need to know the dealer wholesale cost of both of these to make a wise decision before I go shopping. Any help from someone with access to a catalog from Jerry's, Sports South, Elliot Brothers, etc. will be appreciated....
 
S&W model 638 would run approximately $459; while the model 642 is still
price at $349~!:eek: 638's are more scarce:D
