Price check S&W 66

I've been renting a 66 at the range and really like it. Since I only shoot the .38 spcl it would be a nice addition to my collection. Does anybody know the going price for these new and used?

Coop, if you are only going to shoot .38 specials, then I would purchase a .38 special revolver. Either a Model 15 or model 16. I use .38's to shoot .38's and .357's to shoot .357's, cuz if you shoot alot of .38's in a magnum revolver you will experience difficulty chambering a magnum round eventually. Lot's of guys may not agree, but that's why you will find excellent deals on .38 special revolvers! just my .02 cents.. Ron
 
I just ordered a new Model 66 with a 4inch barrel for $490.00. They have gone up in recent years, but worth every penny.
