I've really been wanting a 3 inch 357 and I've come across a 3 inch model 13-3 blued and buyer says very good condition. No box or original grips. Asking $450. Good, bad, indifferent, assuming no pitting on topstrap, tight cylinder, lockup and good timing? Here are the pics.

A 3" M13 or M65 are terrific all-arounders, but not easy to find. If you're buying it as a shooter, and it checks out, it's a good price, IMO.

One thing to look for is light rust under those rubber grips, especially along the top of the grip where it covers the side plate. No rust, or if its very light, equals BUY. Maybe a buy regardless.

Any of the 3" K frames are hot right now. If I was offered that revolver at $450.00 I'd buy it, ASAP.

I have a 3" M 65-5 Lady Smith, it's a pleasure to shoot with all types of ammo, has a great balance, and is more accurate than I am. Yet somehow it feels much heaver that my 2 1/2" M -66.

Good luck....

Most any S&W K-frame you find these days that doesn't come apart when you shake it, and isn't rusted tight will bring $450.00 these days.
