Local gun shop has a used Ruger SP101 2 1/8" bbl .357 in very good condition for $295 + a holster of unknown mfg or condition (but knowning what is used around here I'll bet it isn't much).
Sounds fair, but not "knock your socks off". I bought one new for (I recall) $375 and sold it to a friend in incredibly lovely condition for $275 a couple of months later. And threw in a couple of holsters and a pile of ammo.
$275-300 is a solid price for a good gun. I saw one at a gun show that had some miles on it for 275$...to high and a LNIB example the guy wanted 350$ for it. To high again.
275$ is a good deal and you may not want to pass it up.
Shoot well
