Price check on Sig 220 tu-tone -new

I need a price check on a new Sig 220 tu-tone with standard sights. They want 789.00 at the gun store? Too much?

Not sure on what they are going for NIB, but I am damned sure its enough to get you in trouble with the wife! I know because I picked up a 220 last night. It sure feels good, I cant wait to go shoot it!

I looked at an identical one last weekend at gunstore in San Angelo for $795. My read on it is that it is expensive but worth it.

I bought one with standard sights, in the People's Republic of Massachusetts for $702 on sale, the "regular" price was $769.

WG, I read your link. I especially like this quote from the article:

Yup-----too much----store here has tu-tone P220's with night sights for $795-----and I was thinking that was too much.
