Price check on pre-ban SKS

If you have paper work to prove a Chineese SKS was brought into this country prior to the 89 Bush ban, I will be very surprised.

It might be worth the money, but is it worth the trip to prison? A folding stock is a no-no unless you can prove one was installed on that rifle before the ban. Bayonets are not allowed on non-C&R SKS's either, but you can remove that easily enough.

there are alot of non C&R sks that do indeed have bayonet's on them. those did come into the country with them, not as an after thought, as on ones that did come into the country, and were required to have the bayonets removed before being allowed to be sold to vendors.
i own a few that were new in the crate chinese full size as well as their paratrooper model. all came in with bayonets installed. YES there are alot out there that were forced to have the bayo's taken off before sales( as per atf instructions) but not all sks's with bayonets were strictly C&R's. also the same goes for folding stocks. if in the country and SOLD before 9/94 than they can have a folding stock (on sks' only) not the MAK-90 ak variant'. those as with other imported (thumbhole stock) guns must have a pre 89 sale or a folding stock that has been permanently set (welded) to be in the open position. and need the requires us mfg parts for that particular model to meet sec 922 of the 94 crime bill
