Price check on a well used 92 Centurion at LGS

Saw a 92 Centurion at a big box store today for $500.
It looked like it had a lot of holster wear, but other then that it looked okay.

So is $500 reasonable for a maybe police trade-in Centurion?
And if so what are the things I should check? Slide slop, lock block, frame cracks?

Thanks

I can't tell you about price since I have not priced many used M92s. But it doesn't sound outrageously high and is reasonable enough that I'd not hate myself if I had to have the gun, and paid that price.

Don't bother to check the locking block, just plan on replacing it as soon (if) you buy the gun. You don't know how much it has been shot and the locking blocks are supposed to be replaced after some point. Has the gun reached that point? You can't tell.

Sure, remove the slide and in good lighting, look for cracks in it and the frame. Not likely there will be any, but you will feel better for having looked.
