Restless, restless me just got a 625 but am now itchy for another revolver. I've been asking questions about the .44 and have decided that I want a Dan Wesson but have also been looking at the v-comps. I'm thinking the more I pay for it the more likely I'm going to carry it and I think I'm more likely to carry a .45 but I'm not ruling out carrying a .44.
Anyway, I'm curious as to what I'd have to spend for a .44 or .45 v-comp. Is there much of a difference in price where barrel length is concerned?
Is the price (which I can only assume will be more than what I paid for my 625 -$500- but it's got that new lock on it) worth what the v-comps will offer?
Is there any good reason why I should just get a Dan Wesson .44 and be happy with the 625 I already have?
On the other side of the coin, is there any good reason why I should go ahead and get one of the v-comps?
Thanks,
S
