Price Check, Marlin 1894CB

Local gun shop will sell to me a new Marlin 1894CB in .45 LC for $525 out the door. I think this is a good deal as another shop has the same for $595. Should I drop what I'm doing and go get it? Pretty gun!

I've been looking at these, and both in this area and my internet searches, $525 out the door for a NIB is a good price. They seem very popular and the prices remain higher on the 1894CB than other models. Good Luck

I've been shopping for the very same Marlin since August. I saw one at a gunshow in Oct for $520, which I thought was too much so I passed. Went to another show this month and saw another specimen with a $580 price tag on it, so I think you've got a decent price. I did manage to buy a NIB Marlin 1894CB for $420 at this month's show, but I do believe I stole this one......Dan in GA
