Here's the latest in my quest for a 92F/92FS, which has been going on for years:

I all but shook hands on a Beretta 92F tonight trap shooting when a guy asked me if I knew anyone interested in a Glock 22. It's a 3rd generation with night sights and three standard-cap mags and a mag holster. He wants $550 for it, and he selling it because he uses a .45 with the sherrif's posse around here.

Good deal or not? It's certainly made me want to wait on my Beretta...

I just sold my Glock 22 for $325. So lets say $325 for the gun, $50 for night sights, full cap mags are $65 each if they are drop free and in good shape, more if new, less if non-drop free. Assuming that is what you mean by 'standard' since the std now is the reduced cap 10 round mag worth $14 each. So $550 is about right, what you would pay if you bought everything separately.

$550 is a high for a used Glock, even in my area. You can get a brand spanking new weapon for that price. That's with nite sights.

If they are "standard" 10rd mags, the price goes way down since the weapons come with two of these anyway. I would give $400 to $450 max on this weapon.

If they are High Cap magazines and the weapon is in excellent condition, then yes, $550 is definitely worth it.

What makes or breaks the price are the mags. I've seen the high capacity drop free mags easily going for $100 each, while the standard 10rd mags average $20.00 each. If they are High Cap mags, make sure they aren't LEO type mags unless they are legal for you to own.

Good Shooting

They are pre-ban mags. Thanks for the replies, I'm just soul-searching between this gun, a 92F in VG condition, and a new M9 edition Beretta. I'll keep you posted!
