they have different NIB values. This stuff is from "The Blue Book of Gun Values" 22nd edition:
Tangent Rear Sight Slotted - The grip strap is slotted to accommodate a shoulder stock. Early pistols had "T" prefixes. Later pistols had spur hammers and are in the serial range 73XXXX-74XXXX.

The book warns of fakes and to examine slot milling. Also look for the serial number in 3 places.
