Price Check: Beretta 92F SS Magazines

Can anyone give me an idea what new or used pre-ban 15rd Beretta 92F Stainless Steel magazines are going for?

What about availability?

$80 for used in good condition.

Skip them!

All you can see is the baseplate anyhow, and the black of the standard version mags is a nice complement to to the black grips. The baseplate of the HARD CHROME mags that come on the SS guns doesn't really match the rest of the gun anyway.

If you want enhanced corrosion resistance, then e-less nickel plate them (around $10/mag in my area). You can also buff the baseplates to bare aluminum for a better match to the gun anyway, or spray them with a gray coating that Brownell's sells to simulate factory mag baseplates.
 
like B Shipley said don't worry about them being Stainless Steel.

you can find 92FS 15rd mags for around $45 at gun shows. I got most of my mags for under that price actually. 92FS mags are still pretty readily available.

if you really want you can put a stainless baseplate on the mags since thats all you can see.
 
Wow! I would like to know where you guys got your 92FS mags. The only price that I've seen the original 15 round at is $80 and up. Maybe prices are getting better.

I wouldn't worry about the SS though. Just get some mags. You can get cheap aftermarket mags all day long for $ 25 and sometimes even less.

What I'm waiting on is some lady that is mad at her husband and she just sells off all his guns. Anyone here with marital problems? ;)

Don't buy aftermarket unless they are for range use (what's the point?). I only tust factory or Mec-Gar for defense use.
 
B Shipley, you're right on that one. I've got 3 15 round aftermarket mags and ONLY use them for range shooting. Wouldn't trust my life to them.
