This is kinda ridiculous. The price of ammo is NOT comming down, but is going up....

What the price you pay for .40 S&W, Winchester "White Box" 180 grain FMJ

And Wolf .40 S&W, 180 Gr. Copper FMJ?

I have to pay 13.95 for Winchester, and 12.99 for Wolf!!!
Is this the norm? What about the same in .357 Sig?

I can go to Wally World and get UMC for $17 a boox off 100rds... But the closest Wall-Mart is almost an hour, one way.....

I was just at walmart looking at some ammo, but the only one they had listed were Winchester 9mm 100ct JSP $10.79 Noone was around to help...it was 1 in the morning but still :p

The WalMart in prescott stops selling ammunition and firearms at 9:00 pm. I don't recall the price on .40, but I do remember it was about twice the price of 9mm, which would make $13 about right.

Ahhh... Well, at least I know its not just my local shop....
Thanks people.

This is the reason I have ordered a Beretta 92G Elite II. ;)
That way I will have my 40 for carry, and a great 9mm that is cheaper to feed! But do any of us really NEED an excuse for buying a new gun?! :D

Anyone know the price of 357 sig Vs .40S&W? Cost more of less?

I bought a 500 round 'case' from a local dealer about 2 months ago for $85 (Winchester USA 180 grain). Last week got a 500 round 'case of 165 grain UMCs for same price, same dealer. Had also bought a 1000 round case of 180 grain S&B for $170 about 6 months ago. Walmart's price here has always been $10.86 for a 50 round box of either UMCs for USAs. Their prices may be going up, however. I noted 9mms went up about $0.50 per box over the past couple of weeks.
