Price check aisle 9, S&W model 15, used

What's a decent price for a used S&W model 15 in "ok" condition? Bore and cyls look clean, but it has some holster and grip wear. Lockup and end shake are fine.

Seeing them on the auction sites for $250-300, the one above is local and is $295. Has an awful nice trigger...

Thanks in advance,

P.S. Since I'm getting the message, "sorry, the search function has been disabled by the administrator", can someone tell me about the model 15? Is it just a model 10 with adjustable sights?

Look Around You Can Do Better Than This

Sam ole' buddy-

The $295 asking price for a Smith & Wesson model 15
seems kind'a steep for my neck of the woods! I
would not expect to pay more than that for a pristine
condition Smith & Wesson model 19 in .357 magnum.
You should make a counter offer not to exceed $225,
at the max!:)

As for observations on gun auctions, those prices are
not set in stone!:D Simply use them as a guideline.

I have been looking for a Model 15 and agree with Ala Dan. There is one in the current Gun List that is listed as 100% with original box etc for $325. So, I am using that as a basis as to the max price for one in new condition. One in OK condition should be significantly less than that.
Note: I am only looking at 4" models in blue finish.

There are several right now on AuctionArms in the $160-$225 range but you have to add shipping and transfer fees. I bought a nice nickeled M15 at a show two years ago for $185. Nice guns, keep looking and I'm sure you'll find one at a price you want to pay.

$180 in your hands. Total, tax, ship and whatever included.

Should be doable with patience.

Have patience and carry cash.

Thanks for the replies, folks. Yep, sleeping on it, reading your comments, I came to the same decision. About $100+ too much, in this case.
