The same gentleman who brings in original Colts was there and as usual I looked without any intrest since I don't do originals.
Colt Second Gen Third model Dragoon with no box or papers. Looked unturned. 550.00
ROA new in box was probably going to go for about 425.00
ASP Stainless (?) steel 1860. I have seen two of these pistols at two shows running and they are always priced above 350.00.
Pretty pistol but I doubt it is worth anywhere near 350.00.
I have one which I paid under two hundred for. Pretty nice pistol.
I didn't buy anything to shoot but needed some number 11 caps. Bought three tins of those.
Needed some steel bore brushes so I gave five bucks for four of those.
Guy had a bunch of parts for 30 bucks so I took all of that. Probably the best find of the day.
Got a Dragoon trigger guard
Brass .44 frame from Pietta which is completely shot.
.44 1851 pattern barrel in pretty good shape
.36 Navy barrel also pretty good
.44 Colt cylinder with no battle scene on it. No nipples. It will take some doing to get it looking right.
Remington hammer, like new
I am going to practice my technique on the frame. Probably clean up the .44 barrel and the cylinder and let it go on eBay.
The Dragoon trigger guard will go onto eBay as well.
I will probably keep the .36 barrel.
