A few years ago I picked up an old mini 14GB. Say what you want about minis. It's mine and I love it.

I love everything except the sights. I'd really like to put on some kind of fiber optics for better vision in low light, but I'm worried about what that would do to the little bit of value it has as a collectible.

Try posting over at the Perfect Union forum...that's where the Mini guys hang out.

I'm not familiar with the M-14 style sight post on that rifle. Perhaps there's an AR front post (fiber optic or tritium) that might be adapted to it?

I put a Millette Red Dot on mine , you would be amazed at how well you can shoot with one of these . 11 Different brightness settings , for any light conditions ! I went with the 30mm !
