My son wants to head west and shoot prairie dogs for a few days when school lets out in June. I'm thinking South Dakota. I don't mind spending a couple days of that driving around looking on public lands, but since it will take 2 days to get there I want to set up at least 1 day as a "sure thing". Meaning I'd like at least 1 day where we'll actually get some shots on prairie dogs instead of driving around aimlessly. Does anyone have a guide or ranch they've had good luck with?
