J Jack O'Conner New member Sep 14, 2008 #5 Go to mapquest and type in Sturgis, SD. - After the map comes up, go to arial view. - Make a straight line between Strugis and New Underwood. - Find the halfway mark. This the heart of good partridge hunting. - In SD, you can hunt the land between shoulder of road and fence line. This is considered a public section line or right of way. - SD has abundant "Walk In" areas for public to hunt. Contact Game, Fish, and Parks through state website for free Atlas.
