Practicing my vertical dropleg buscadero double holster quick draw and spinning vid

Practicing my fast draw, spin into the holster, and general spins, using double dropleg holsters and Uberti '73 peacemakers in .45 Colt. It was kind of hard splitting my concentration between holding the phone camera and trying to stay on image while drawing and spinning. Sorry if the vid's a little shaky. Also forgot to leg tie my holsters down before I started the vid. Didn't affect me much though.

Going to get myself a glove to cut out the fingers on, because I get to spinning so fast that the edge of the hammer sometimes hits the base of my thumb cutting it open. And I keep hitting it in the same spot over and over again, often cutting a hunk out Ahhh! My Uberti '73's have a pretty sharp edge on their hammer's spur and I've thought about filing it to round it down, but the case hardening is so thin, I'm afraid I might file through it. So I'll try the cut out fingers gloves first. This is the price of practicing spinning.

Slightly longer practicing vid where you can see me hit my already cut open thumb....again for the upteenth time. No blood this time though, only pain from hitting it in the same spot that was already injured. This time I didn't cut a hunk out of it like I usually do. Starting to build up a keyloid callus at the base of my thumb to match the callus on both sides of my trigger finger from spinning.

Pretty cool reminds me of a friend years ago, practicing his quick draw skills! Well he got so fast that he drew, fired and holstered so fast that the gun went off in the holster!! Thankfully he was using wax bullets no real damage done.
