like the .32 ppk alot but the kel-tec has a lot going for it but am i being stupid for getting a .32. Its .312 .vs .355. The weight gain is not that much and I hear the ppk .32 is more reliable than the .380 and holds more ammo. thank you and God bless.

Glocks are not perfect, just better than every other handgun.

The "Kill"-Tek is smaller, lighter easy to shoot, accurate and slim as as none other.
I have a .380 ppk. I can't reccomend the AMERICAN walthers due to qaulity and metal problems ( in stainless, its way too soft..my current is a nickled version...).

I have shot the p-32 and love the way it handles (cept' the trigger) Not as accurate with the sights as a PPK But the trade off in size/whieght terms is more than I can ressist...I hope to get one soon.

Do get the chromed version, the blue has a rusty history...

P.S. using hardball you should get about 850fps with winchester out of the small kellsters barrel. The .380 os a little bigger but not much faster. In a small round like this we are looking for PENETRATION. Skip "hollows" for the under 9mm's ( cept bottlenecked rounds o' course)... we want that little lead worrior to smash through cranial mass! For the trade off the .32 will do..

I don't own a Walther but something very close. I own a Bersa Series 95. Very good shooting gun, accurate as hell, and ultra reliable.

If you're going to buy something the size of the PPK, you might as well buy the KelTec P11 in 9mm. If you want something small for your pocket, go for the Keltec P32.

I've had four Walthers -- an American PPK, an American PPK/S (both stainless .380's), a German blue PP .32, and a German blue PPK/S .380. All have been extremely reliable, and shot a lot, with both FMJ's and JHP's. Accuracy is good enough. The German PPK/S is a keeper, and I like having a manual safety/decocker rather than just relying on the DAO Kel-Tec. Lots of people are comfortable with DAO's like that, but I'm not one of them.

Forget the PPK. It is as big and heavy as a 9mm Kahr MK9 so what's the point other than it is a cool gun with that James Bond thing going for it.

I hear the Kel-Tec P32 is really small and light if you have to go .32 cal.

Another thing to consider is to try a PPK first to see if you are a victim-in-waiting for the infamous Walther-bite. I don't care how James Bond-cool a pistol is, I'd be leery about gambling on a gun that has a reputation for turning many thumb webs into hamburger.

YMMV,

RJ

Tomorrow I'll be firing my recently purchased PPK, German made, 32 yr old is 7.65mm (32). Hopefully I'l find that it is more accurate and quicker to be on target than the American made .380 PPK I once had.
Some features I particularly like about the PPK: ergonomics, quality of production (German only), loaded indicator, accuracy, etc. If I want to carry a more serious caliber, I would pack my P239 in 40.
