I currently use thomson cheap shot pure lead hollow points 245gr. for deer.I qestion copper plated hollow points for expantion.I seen a slug from a big buck that was barley even deformed.It was from a winchester partition gold shotgun slug.The other issue, is whitetail are small aniamals I feel copper takes a big bone to get some kind of expantion.Pure lead hollow points have always made huge exit holes.Power belt jacket hollow points ,I've heard expand very well any info?The only pure lead they sell is 295GR.
