I have a powder measure like this. How does it work?

Well, this one looks much like mine and my range is 50-120grs., in 10grn. incriments. Some will go up to 150 but miost have a max rating of 120. Just slide the outside cylinger up and down. If you wish, you could go and mark the inside cup knothches. Unless I'm mistaken, this looks like the ones sold by TC Arms, even though probably don't make them.

To level the charge off. I use one of these. They go from 20 - 120. Made by TC. They still make them but they're not solid brass anymore.

One of mine looks somewhat like yours its shorter and fatter runs from 20 grn to 40 grn in 5 grn increments, overfill it from a flask over a clean catch plate wipe excess of top [I use my capper] then dump the powder from the catch plate back in the flask. Depending on what your loading you might need a funnel. ie .36 or .44 cylinders.
