Barely customized Springfield Stainless "Loaded". Ed Brown extended slide stop, full-length guide rod replaced with standard stubby one, Kimber grip panels (with de rigeur Wilson hex-head grip screws ).
Kimber Classic Stainless LE with tres chic carbon fiber grip panels.
Springfield Professional. Left just the way the Effa-Bee-Eye wanted it.
Actually, only the V-10 and the Professional are mine. The Springfield "Loaded" is my roommate's, and the Kimber belongs to a co-worker of his. He had borrowed the Kimber for the evening, and with four fine 1911's in the house, I thought some photos were in order.
This is the Kimber I have been awwwwing over, the picture stinks, but it matchs my carbon fiber Benchmade. I believe its a Pro Shadow, even has night sights. I want to change out the grips and find some real carbon fiber ones.
