Hey guys, I am looking to get 1991 and I wanna customize the heck out of it. IF you have pictures of you .45 please post them!!! This should be fun!

Left to right:

Mildly customized Springfield V-10 "Bi-Tone". Recontoured frontstrap and dust cover, Navidrex contoured CCW grips in grained ebonywood, Wilson stainless hex-head grip screws, Novak sights, STI trigger, Ed Brown flat checkered stainless MSH, Wilson stainless "memory lump" beavertail GS, ramped and throated, heavier recoil spring.

Barely customized Springfield Stainless "Loaded". Ed Brown extended slide stop, full-length guide rod replaced with standard stubby one, Kimber grip panels (with de rigeur Wilson hex-head grip screws ;) ).

Kimber Classic Stainless LE with tres chic carbon fiber grip panels.

Springfield Professional. Left just the way the Effa-Bee-Eye wanted it.

My Birthday Present

From my new wife last year (we had been married about 5 months)!!

Kimber Ultra CDP, Galco Jackass Shoulder Rig.

Although she isn't into guns like I am, she appreciates my interest. Hey - did I marry well or what!

John Bettendorf,

Actually, only the V-10 and the Professional are mine. The Springfield "Loaded" is my roommate's, and the Kimber belongs to a co-worker of his. He had borrowed the Kimber for the evening, and with four fine 1911's in the house, I thought some photos were in order.

Tried to post some photos from hard drive , cant figure it out
guess I need to read more.

Got one up as an attachment, AAUGH. wrong pic maybe Ill try
later.

Don't you people know ANYTHING about posting pictures of handguns?;)

There isn't a single knife in any of the pictures.

:p

This is an older Series 70s done many years ago with the checkering and Ed Brown beavertail and hammer/sear added just a few years ago.

Best.

This is the Kimber I have been awwwwing over, the picture stinks, but it matchs my carbon fiber Benchmade. I believe its a Pro Shadow, even has night sights. I want to change out the grips and find some real carbon fiber ones.

Hey Kevinch!

Has she got a pretty, single (or a pretty single) sister?

Sorry labman.45 - no single sisters. We are both in our 40's and have ..um..."past experiances" in marriage that we are using to make this one work!

She does have a gorgeous (IMO) 20 year old daughter that is now my step-daughter, lives with us, & is single.

....& don't even think about it.....

:) :)
