Post Convention Bush Bounce

The first major national poll since the Republican convention is out this morning. It shows Bush lrading Kerry by 11%. The margin of error is 3%.
 
Yeah, shrub will probably ride this out to victory, unless the economy tanks. Good for judge appointments is all I can say - well, that and the trickle down effect to have the Repubs hang on to the Congress houses hopefully.
 
Most of the time the post convention bounce will fade away with time.
On the other hand, sKerry started dropping after his convention.
My guess is that, by the time of the election, Bush will "only" have 5-6 points.
That is, of course, if nothing wierd happens in the world.
Capturing Usama could add another 10-40%. :p

but out her in california the whiney libs are still the majority........

Thank god, I was hearing he had bounced nearly 20 points.

It's my paraniod, tin-hat wearing opinion that Bush has been ahead the whole time.

I think the press were trying to hush up his actual lead as long as possible.
Now, they have to start telling a little truth so that after kerry gets done in like dukakis and mondale they will be able to say they told some truth at the end.

Just my 2 cents.
 
The polls are faked. Oversample of likely Republican voters. Figures do not lie, liars always figure.

Press is setting horse race up. Need Kerry to catch up at end of October. Media prays that this and terror attack will put Kerry over 270.

I did it myself two years ago. My only regret is that I didn't leave the People's Republic of California years sooner than I did.

Yep. Still can't figure out how often times the press is sampling less than a thousand people and calling it representitive of America, except that most people don't bother to look at the number of people polled.
