Just arrived today. I am still pinching
myself to make sure I am not dreaming.
This puppy is THE REAL DEAL. Nice finish
Nice compensator, Nice furniture, nice bore,
"Everytttin'Nice".--Even the trigger is better
than average for this type of firearms.
I believe parts are mostly H&K from Portugal.
The receiver is marked G3 made it Portugal.
I just hope it performs as
beautiful as it looks when I take it to the range.
If it does...This will be the best deal I ever made.
I will keep ya'll informed. Meanwhile...I'll just
smile big time :) :D .
Please include any comments you might have
on these machines. (especially the recent ones
from SOG) that you migh have.

vanfunk...
SOG is listing them for about $595.00 I believe.
Add to that the shipping charge, local tax, dealer's part, credit card fee and it all came out to be about $721.00 --Traded a Remington 11-87 on the G3. So... I ended up forking out about $300
I am still looking at this thing wondering ....
Surely there must be something wrong with it, although I haven't been able to find out what yet!
I guess the range visit will be the final determining factor.

Well, I got a chance to see what this thing is made of. I fired it at 75 yds. A few rounds were shot from a picnic table while others were fired from free-hand standing position. Unfortunately I didn't have the shooting range facilities available. I got there and 10,000 people were trying to get a lane to shoot their deer rifles. So, we went to a buddy's camp.
Shot WInchester 150 gr. JSP--Right off the bat groups stayed around 1.25". Even standing up I managed to get 1.25". I guess if I had 100 yds. it possibly could have grouped around 1.75" (open sights). This rifle performed really well. I am pleased. Do not plan on recovering the empty brass cases. They will be DOA and mangled pretty badly. Oh well! Shot a string of 5 rounds rapid fire. Man, no problem at all. The muzzle brake does an awesome job in supressing recoil. It feels like you're shooting a .243!
I'll keep on pinching myself I guess!!!!

Careful taking that thing out in public in Kalifornia. You may find yourself with legal problems.
