I found a 40cal Witness P at my local dealer, and it has "porting" to keep the barrel from lifting up after each shot. (two small holes in the end of the barrel and slide) Is this good, bad, or both, and is this gun worth the $370 they want for it? I like the feel of the gun, but don't know much about the Witness P in general. How does it compare to say a H&K USP compact (twice the $ ), or Glock 23?
