I have owned handguns for many years. I am now 56. When I turned 40 my eyesight started to go. I am in readers for years now mostly 250+.
I went to the optometrist and they put me in "progressive" lenses which was a total waste of funds in that I could not get used to them.
When I wear my readers I can see my sights but my target is a total blur at the range. I can't see a target at 15', it's a total blur.
If I look over my readers I can see the target but my sights are a total blur.
So I am basically shooting in the dark playing a guessing game.
I really want to get back to enjoying shooting and being semi competent with my guns so if anyone has solved this riddle please let me know.
I shot two targrt clip holders clean off at the range yesterday. It was friggin embarrassing.
Thank you.
