Thinking of approaching the board members of where i shoot at with a good everybody can shoot match. I'd like you guys input on these rules and feel free to ask a question as of why i made them that way.

Competition would be 3 targets 100, 200, and 300 yrds. 5 shot groups
24 caliber and up nothing smaller.
light factory barrel only
no tactical or target stocks but factory stock or stock appearing replacement may be pillar bedded, glass bedded, or stiffened
no gun vices only bags or bi-pods
no specialty order guns(cooper arms, shaw rifle, 40X, etc)

I think it would be great to get a lot of people in the door at the local range that only break there guns out for deer season and believe it would be a ton of fun to see just how good some guys you wouldn't think of can shoot

Collect a bunch of juice can lids as targets 5 rds ea.

Field application shoot..

100 yards off hand
200 yards kneeling
300 yards prone

Have everyone put up a nominal fee to be divided up according to each yardage winner Top Shot Trophy for agrgate winner
You could turn it into a mini fund raiser for the club, have door prizes (ticket draws) Hot dogs etc.

When we have done this at our club. It was a $10.00 buy in $4.00 to the club $6.00 to the match.

1 dollar 100yds
2 dollars 200yds
3 dollars 300yds

So depending on the number of shooters, there is a fair incentive to hit the lids.. If no one hits the lid on any flight then the prize money is divided accordingly and move into the following flights purses. or uncollected money can go directly to the club...

Tie breakers can be determined by bulls eye target one shot closest to the X...

last we did this we had 50 shooters sign up.Long day lots of fun.
