Polymer Gluing?

Pistol frames are made of a glass reinforced polymer that doesn't glue well.

Most solvent type glues either just don't work, or in the case of epoxies, it just peels right off.

Sorry, guys. No pics, no story. I'm just asking in reference to possible frame/grip modifications. Y'all wanna make something up, go ahead. :D

Some custom gunsmiths do offer polymer frame welding.
This is used to add polymer to frames to allow altering the back strap, grip frame, adding a longer tang to the frame, or trigger guard.

This works something like metal welding only with plastic rod and a plastic welder kit system.
Many offer work on the Glock, but more and more are doing most any polymer frame guns.
