Polling Results (NOT Internet Polls)

Gary,
After reading all those CNN polls, I have but one question. If Gore and Liberman are so concerned about "the will of the people", then why haven't they packed their bags, and gone home? If I hear "will of the people" one more time, out of the month of a Damnocrat, I'm going to start breaking things!!!!

Gus:

If the polls turn dramatically, the Democrats in Congress will make sure that he follows the will of the people. They don't want this following them into the mid-term elections. You will see them devouring their own. Such a beautiful sight. That is why I thought that it would be good to track the telephone polls taken by these professional polling organizations. It should give us some idea of the level of heat on AGore.

I can't believe it, but CBS is now allowing negative editorials regarding Gore.

The "people" for now want Gore to concede because they just want it over. They don't want their episodes of "Millionaire" interupted. But I think Gore is playing the "grind 'em down game" that Clinton played during the Lewinsky mess. He'll keep this up until the public doesn't care what happens or why, and then really make his disgusting moves. At that point the mushy middle won't care if it was right or not, only that it's over.

I found this interesting in the CBS article:
"Almost three out of four Americans say they believe the nine justices of the U.S. Supreme Court will be able to make a fair, nonpartisan decision about issues related to the Florida recount."

Well they have not seen how their votes on this issue come out. I bet we will end up with a split decision. Sorry, but I have very little faith left in our courts.
