a TV show up here in Canada showed a program where a Canadian corporation is working with S&W to develop "Smart Gun" technology. Vote on whether this technology will save lives. the technology is HUGE and impractical for carry or duty use. it doesn't even look like they have a working prototype yet. Vote at:

In Maryland, an anti-gun pol was asked what would be next if "smart" guns were required. He replied, "Well then we would confiscate all the rest."

And S&W goes along with these thugs?

Smart guns are inpractical. All these politicians, dont know what they are talking about. Smart Guns wont save lives. Smart Guns might not even be a reality any time soon. If law abiding citizens buy Smart Guns, with their fingerprints of key code of whatever, then "bad guys" will be out of luck? Dont think so. Thats not the way it works. Somebody will just find out a way to make the system unoperational.
Smart Guns: bad idea.
