a TV show up here in Canada showed a program where a Canadian corporation is working with S&W to develop "Smart Gun" technology. Vote on whether this technology will save lives. the technology is HUGE and impractical for carry or duty use. it doesn't even look like they have a working prototype yet. Vote at:

In Maryland, an anti-gun pol was asked what would be next if "smart" guns were required. He replied, "Well then we would confiscate all the rest."

And S&W goes along with these thugs?

Hmmm - Kinda like Lotus SMART SUITE... isnt anything really smart about it other than the marketing ploy.
Thats all SMART GUNS are - an HCI marketing ploy.
Maybe 200 years from now - SMART Technology will be at the CLEVER stage... but right now - its stupid as a football bat.
