I would like to take a poll of common issues that arise with specific pistols by manufacturer. This is not intended as a bash session. I only want to know what I might expect from the purchase of one of these guns. I am interested in any issues that might have happened since you purchased this weapon. If you have only put a few rounds in or have only experienced the problem once, I would suggest not listing it as a real problem. I am hoping for feedback from a number of people who have put hundreds/thousands of rounds over a long period of time. Also, if you purchased the gun used and or tampered with, please refrain from submitting a vote.

Please check off the areas you have experienced trouble with your pistol

My 70's series GM has some custom work and is a bit loose in the slide to frame fit, but is still accurate as hell and reliable if I clean her every now and then and don't feed her those 180 grain semi-wad cutters (I have no idea why those don't feed). 230 ball keeps the cholesterol just right...

Over the years I have had quite a batch of Colt Govt Models, Gold Cups, and Commanders, in various calibers such as 45, 38, 9mm, and 10mm. No probs except non-Colt magazines.
