politics and firearms

It looks as though the political climate is changing and with it some of our elected officials opinions on our rights. I dont want a dem vs rep arguement here, I'm just wondering if the ar ban comes back, what becomes of our high cap firearms will they be grandfathered or will they be doomed to the safe until the winds of change blow again?

I think things will stay as they are for quite awhile. There have been several advances lately in the pro-gun movement and the antis are still spinning the same old arguments. The U.S told the U.N in somewhat direct terms the U.S people would not be disarmed. The only negative thing right now is the school shootings, which the antis will try to spin, but I doubt the AR ban or hi-cap ban will come back. It made no difference when it was in place and nothing has changed now. I'm not looking for the doomsday loss of our guns just yet, but I'll keep supporting the cause nonetheless.
