I tried to cut and paste but it didn't work. Google: political cartoon, morin. click on Jim Morin and look at 3-8-05. Makes the NRA out to be a terrorist organization. Whatever happened to being a responsible journalist. I realize that potitical satire is a good thing. But why is NRA always portrayed in this fashion? Why didn't God wire everybodies brains competely?

That's why I prefer the Sun-Sentinal to the Miami Herald...

Unfortunately, the media exists with their own biased agenda. Nothing we can do about it.

Yeah that story the other day on the the suspected terrorists being able to buy guns has really got things stirred up. Problem is until they have actually been found guilty, denying there rights to buy firearms would be no different than government telling the idiot who drew that cartoon he couldnt publish it. Too many quick to act and slow to think IMO.

I know it.....

If I hear one more news story about how terrorists are gonna use .50 cal rifles to shoot down planes my head is going to explode. There are approx. 10000001 and more effective, less expensive tatics they will use before it comes to the .50 cal vs. the 747.

last time i heard, the best weapon to take out airliners was the box cutter. where there is a will there is a way. the only way to truly escape from all danger is to remove yourself from the gene pool. i wish people would stop living in fear.

i would think that the nra does more to prevent individuals from being victims of terrorism and crime in general by educating and standing up for the general public's rights to gun owership.

who is going to pick a fight or threaten somone if they know that person is armed?

armed samurai

That's not just a slam against the NRA as Organization, it's a pointed cultural attack against many individual NRA members. The subject is drawn as a rural, blue-collar hunting type; beady-eyed and threatening, no doubt.

The guy has a very minor gift: he can crudely draw various characters. His simplistic views and narrow-mindedness, however, overshadow any talent he might have.
