I can get one of these unseen for around $275 including 2 12 rd mags. Any opinion on these smiths would be appreciated. These are police trades, so they are way before any political problems we have now. If the finish is not great, can these stainless guns be bead blasted to look new again? Thanks.

I believe that AIM has quite a supply of the 6906 turn ins. The slide can be bead blasted, but that will give it a frosted finish, not the same as the like new polished finish. It is polished, but not a high polish. Frosted still looks good though. The frame is aluminum alloy and I think it is anodized. If you blast it you will remove the anodizing, you will need to check with a gunsmith or someone who knows more about it than I do.
