Police Positive age

I've just recently aquired a Colt Police Positive in 38 special, (my first Colt revolver), it has a very smooth double action trigger pull. the serial # is 330XXX it retains about 70% of the finish witn holster wear on the cylinder and at the muzzle. just curious as to when this one was made. Thanks in advance for your input.

Looks like 1927 for the Special.

If you look at the barrel, its actually a Police Positive Special, which were offered in different cals (38 special or 32 wcf) compared to the PP, which was offered in shorter cartridges, 22, 32 S&W, 38 S&W, etc.
