T Trevor New member Jun 25, 1999 #1 FYI: I have had two boxes of PMC ammo in .223 with duds in them. Three in the first, one in the second. The lot number is 223A-248. ------------------ Dubitando ad veritatem venimus.

M mhannah1 New member Jun 26, 1999 #2 Thanks Trevor..just bought some .223 PMC yesterday. I'll post to this thread if I have the same problem. Also, I think I'll check my lot numbers.

J JBP New member Jun 26, 1999 #3 I bought a case from Cascade; also lot 223A. Of the 20 boxes I've gone through so far each one has had at least one dud in them. It looks like there is a problem with the primers. I've pulled the bullets and the brass is filled with powder.

S Steve Koski New member Jun 30, 1999 #5 I bought a battle pack of the S. African stuff. Good, but it's berdan primed. The PMC stuff is selling for CHEAP around here, even at the more pricey stores. Makes you wonder...
