"plug" for G36

what do you think of the "plug" for the rear grip of the Glock 36. Who makes them, how do they look?

I'm sort of new to glocks but have a 17 and a 36. As far as I know all non g36 45's are double stack mags and won't fit the g36 (single stack).

Stick yer finger in it!:D

I guess they are a good idea, but I've never worried them for my Glocks.

Denfoote is right, the G36 is a "single stack", although not a true single stack as in a 1911 type magazine. They rounds are staggered slightly in the magazine.

The big reason I like the 36 is its slimness. On paper, it's not much, but you measure it it is actually 25mm wide not 28.5 and there is a big difference between a 32mm grip in the G30. Most importantly, it doesn't look like a potato in my pants! I know there are the elite out there that say the 30 makes a fine pocket gun, but c'mon be real.

Just picked up a pierce grip extension #pg-36 for my g36. It only adds 9/16" to the height with a small (1/16)additional flare towards the front of the grip.
Of course there is the one additional round. Feels nice.

Your right, the plug makes the structure more rigid.

Also, I've heard of a case where a shooter cracked his Glock frame when installing the plug.
