L Long Path New member Aug 16, 2001 #2 I'm very fond of the Brenneke slug for its accuracy, heavier projectile weight, and full-face meplat. It's also very accurate, with its attached wad.

A ATTICUS New member Aug 16, 2001 #3 I have used the cheapo Winchester rifled slugs with success for a few years. At short ranges (deep woods) they should work great, and a lot of practice won't bankrupt you. They are $2.00- $3.00 per box of five.
