Please recommend a paddle holster

I have Fobus holsters for G17, G21 and G30 and I finally admitted that they are only good for range use, if that. If I have to move around or change the torso position, they slide front to back or vice versa.

I can get customized leather holsters made on the spot at a gun show for about $45-50. I could also get pre-made holsters ordered. I have no preference, Kydex or leather, but they should hold the gun securely, not slide around and ride as low as possible.

G-Code is one possibility (I've seen Makarov and G23 variants, liked them) but I'd like to find out all options before committing.
 
I have two recommendations, for leather go with Galco (I use both their F.E.D. and P.L.E. paddle holsters) and for Kydex go with Uncle Mike's injection molded Kydex paddle holster. The Uncle Mike's paddle has three adjustment angles, 15 degree fbi cant, straight drop and 15 degree reverse cant which allows the holster to be used as a cross-draw or driving holster. It can also be ordered with a thumbbreak if desired.
 
If you want the Paddle to ride low I think you will not like the Uncle Mike's which rides higher than the Fobus.

Comp-tac is a good choice.

Here's my WIlson Adjuster, it's the same as the Safariland 560 except for the range pimpin' sharkskin.

I have one for both 1911s and my USP45C, but the USP45C one also fits the Grock. Kinda expensive though if you don't like it, Betty can use it for her HK.
 
I have a comp-tac holster (okay, two) and they both do the same thing, but I just solved the problem. I bought a sheet of grip tape at a skateboard store ($4 for approximately 2 square feet) and applied a big piece of the inside part on the paddle on the side that faces my jeans. It locks it in there.

I also took some 80 grip sandpaper and sanded the inside surface of the paddle because the smooth surface could get sticky and sweaty. Sanding it made the inside a nice satin finish that doesn't cause me to sweat so much.
 
Mike Benedict of Talon Tactical makes a one-piece Kydex holster. The "paddle" sits between belt and trousers. Not cant adjustable, but comfortable and concealable.

I like the Safariland 560, it is comfortable, stable, but rather heavy. I am currently using mostly Ready Tactical Equipment belt holsters in kydex. Similar to Ky-Tac, but locally made. I am getting used to threading my belt. I have a Talon paddle for my Kahr E9 that is fine, but don't know how well the style would work for a bigger gun.

It is a fairly quick holster and is adjustable for cant. I also have a Safariland 5181. It is a good practical holster.

I have used both in IDPA matches with no problems and they are comfortable for extended carry. If you are going to carry for extended periods of time, I recommend the Sparks NP-1. Have one and it is the best holster I have.
