Guys,

I'm getting ready to buy my first revolver (already have a half-dozen auto-loaders) and have decided on the .44. If you could be so kind as to post your pics, that'd be great. I'd like to get an idea of what's out there and available.

Thanks,

Matt

I don't have a pic of my dads .44 mag Ruger Super Blackhawk. But it has a 6" barrel and is stainless with the stock wood grips, so it looks the same as the ones on the Ruger website. Very good looking wheelgun, makes me want one, only I want a blued Blackhawk in .357 mag with a 4 5/8" barrel.

Here's a picture of my only .44 - my S&W Model 23 in .44 Special.

I just got this one a little more than a week ago...

Posted it here already with some discussion.... going to take it to its second range trip today!

The image wasn't in focus when I took it so it's digitally sharpened, so excuse the squarishness in someparts.

I thought you'd never ask!

My new SW629 Mountain Gun with new Eagle Smooth Heritage Grips...

Currently three. A Redhawk, a 696, and a 29-8 Mountain Gun. Each has it's own charm.

"Now that is one beautiful 23."

Damn my fumbling fingers!

It's actually a Model 24, and it was born sometime in the 1983.

It's a Model 24-3, the reintroduction of the 1950 Target Model.

I bought it on-line from a shop in Pennsylvania. My heart went pitter patter when I saw it, and I did the "buy now" for just shy of $400.

At the time I paid probably a bit too much, and it was worth every penny.

I've been on the lookout for one with a 4" tube ever since.

I just gout my first .44 it’s a Taurus Raging Bull my favourite revolver by far! I wish I had a digital camera ‘cause this gun is gorgeous :)

ethernectar: It's a S&W 629... one of their custom shop guns. Interchangeable barrel weights in front to keep muzzle rise down.

GunsnRovers,

That hurts my hand just looking at it!! How many rounds do you usually fire from that in one session?
I'll post a pic of my 7 1/2 inch Super Blackhawk when I get home.
