Please identify this S&W

It appears to be a Pre-MIM M-66 .357

IMO, anywhere from $300-$375 if NIB/ANIB. Of course, you can always start your negotiation lower.;)

Quite frankly, I can't tell if very funkily lit blue or stainless...

If you can physically examine the gun, pop the cylinder open. In the cut out under the barrel there's a flat area that should have the model number stamped, either 2, or 3 digits, along with the serial number. Most likely it's 2 digits, a hyphen, and another digit.

Like Mike said, I can't really tell from the pic. Possibly could
be a S&W model 66; but it also might be an N-frame, big-
bore. What caliber is it? More info please-

The gun in that pic appears to be blued. If this is so I don't think it can be a S&W 66, the model 66 is only available in stainless. The blued 66 is a 19 IIRC. But is hard to tell from the pic.

Rock-Jock....
Open the cylinder. At the front of the frame, under the barrel and where exposed by opening the cylinder, you will see a serial number and probably another line of digits under that.

Please let us know the serial number, use Xs for the last three digits so you are not putting the whole number on the net. ALSO tell us the exact numbers and letters on the line under the serial number.

Include any writing on the barrel.

That way we can properly identify the gun.

As I mentioned in another post, the deal fell hrough. As I was driving to the guys house, he called to let me know that someone else had just bought it. Very disappointing.
