Please help me re-assemble my Mossberg.

I have a 590a1 that I picked up brand new from the gunshop today, I took it apart to clean, and now I can't put it back together. It comes down to the bolt assembly, I slide it down the same way it came out and it doesn't want to go in, when I finally get it lined up with the notch, I put everything else back on. I have had to dissasemble and reassemble over 6 times, the bolt assembly keeps coming loose. What am I doing wrong. When I have it re assembled, i'll pull the slide back and gets stuck halfway, thays when I have to re assemble. Thanks for any help.
The internals of my shotguns, which is not even a day old is unbelievably scratched and dinged.

Yes I've seen all the videos, I even obsessed over the alignment. I made the mistake of pulling the trigger after I took the trigger assembly off, but surely it didn't do anything.
I have a question, the bolt assembly, the button on top of it, is it supposed to pop up again after you press it? I push it and it stays there.
I just don't understand what is wrong with the shotgun, the more I try the more dinged up the metal gets and the more internal scratches, I don't even care about the lube anymore, I just wan't this thing to work, it isn't even a day old.
I might be over-stressing but I feel like i've ruined this shotgun and I won't be able to fix it without spending major $$$ which I don't have.

I don't remember if the trigger plays a part but I would reset it before installing.

If i'm following what you're saying about the button I believe it doesn't pop back up. It is meant to lock the barrel when the bolt is forward.

It's to late for me to take apart either of my 500's. Sometimes you need to relax and come back later. Just try not to lose any parts.

Above all else... don't feel bad, Mossberg 500-series is notoriously hard to put back together without three hands. Most of the problem seems to come from the little things that you assume you did, but didn't do quite right.

(A bit like forgetting to put a ":" instead of ";" in programming)

The first time I tried to put back together a 500 that someone had trouble with and brought to the shop in the proverbial bag, it took me an hour to get the correct combination right. It turned out that I had moved one side of something a fraction of an inch in assembly without noticing and it locked things up each time I tried.
