Please help identify this rifle action

Hello to all, I would like to identify this barreled action.... the only marking is on the barrel, " 6.5mm" . No other signs on the action. The barrel look like a sporter, tapered with sporting sights, is made as is or could be a military turned to taper.
Could be a carcano action. ? ?
Thanks

I doubt its carcano, the two triggers are probably a hair trigger system. You pull one, then when you barely touch the other the rifle fires. Its probably a sporting/hunting rifle, not a military rifle.

The triggers are not a "hair" trigger. They are properly referred to as a double set trigger. The rear trigger is pulled to "set" the front trigger which then typically has a very light let off, and is usually adjustable i weight. Some rifles have a single set trigger, modern CZ's come to mind, where you can use the trigger normally or you can push the single trigger forward to set it, and then enjoy the light let off. On many double set triggers you can use the front trigger without setting it, but the weight will be heavier.

I think it is a sporterized Carcano by the way.

re CARCANO BARRELED ACTION DOUBLE SET TRIGGER

Ok finally I own this action, it was a small price...$40. Once I start cleaning it up, bore shining bore with crisp rifling and metal in super state of conservation for the age of the rifle I decided not to cannibalize the trigger group as originally intended to, on stead I decided to give it a second life as a sporter.
I started to polish all metal part and notice that the only marking beside matching serial # are: on the barrel 6.5mm and under the action on the rear of the front lug initial MG.
I slug the barrel and the measure are: LAND TO LAND .254", GOOVE to GROOVE .266" ( 4 lands 4grooves ) I was mayby to fast in ordering dies and brass since I learn that this action was imported in Canada by Coey and rebarreled in 6.5x54 Mannelicher Schoennauer by treading the new barrel in the stump of the original barrel and sold by T.Eatons Co.during the 30'.
Any one out there own this rifle???
Please if you have any info I woul appreciate.
Thanks Roberto
