My 9mm S&W (manufactured and purchased long before the "aggreement") has the "curved back" factory grip on it. The S&W catalog lists some models with "straight backs" and I recently examined a friend's model 910 with the straight back grip The grip was one of my major gripes about mine. I've tried aftermarket grips (those available were curved) and got no improvement. The straight grip on the model 910 seemed much better to me.
Are the straight back and curved back grips interchangable on similar sized models or is there something different about the frame?
The pistol functions flawlessly, but the ergonomics (mainly grip and trigger pull) are my complaint about it.
