Only place I know of that does rentals is Hillsborough Outdoor.

Forgetting rentals try Ray's Sport Shop in N. Plainfield on Rt 22. GREAT selection, lousy prices, some good people.
In Bound Brook is Efingers. OK people, OK selection, Aweful prices.

I'd like to put in a "plug" for Hillsborough Outdoor. It's ten minutes from my house, shoot there almost every week. They host IDPA twice a month as well. Ask for Dan when/if you go. Really nice guy. Yeah, the prices are kinda steep, but it's a nice range and they've got a good selection of rental guns.

JC Armory is strictly mailorder now. His prices are less, but now you have the shipping and your FFL fees, so he may not be a bargain.
I`ve heard Caso has good prices, but don`t know about a range.
Try Paterson gun. 973-684-6777. Ask for Mike, he has a range and can get just about anything. No rentals. But if you have a problem with a purchase, he takes care of the shipping.

JCArmory is TOPS in my book, but as said above, they are only mail order now. Thank the current culture - He was basically harrased out of local business by the JC police. It's easier for him to not have a storefront. Unbelieveable. Greg is a stand-up guy who got 100% of my business until he stopped in-house sales. Anyone that's not in NJ or is willing to pay the FFL fees - I HIGHLY recommend JCArmory.

No, haven't tried it yet. I keep meaning to , but they do it the first and third Monday of the month, and it's hard for me to make it there on time. I definitely want to check it out at some point. I'll probably just watch a few times then jump in if I think I'll like it.
