Places I'm not allowed to carry

I know what the Indiana law states, but tis still a bit vague. I know I can't carry on school grounds (unless I'm transporting someone to or from school, and the gun is in my car), on a school bus or ANY school function. Commercial aircraft, secure areas in the airport, on a riverboat casino, during the state fair or on a shipping port. I understand these, but it doesn't say anything about a bar, or if you've been drinking, government buildings and so on. Not that I carry my gun, drunk in the statehouse, but I just want to know ALL of it. People can take those and say, I know where I can't carry, but if there isn't a sign in front of an establishment stating no weapons, then i can carry inside.

I know in Arkansas you can't carry:

1. in a school, or school grounds
2. churches
3. libraries
4. banks
5. police departments
6. any bar that serves alcholic bevarages
7. hospitals
8. liquor stores
9. anyplace that has posted not to carry, some people has told me wal-mart doesn't allow it, but I've never seen a sign

In CT you can carry anywhere except a school or school function, unless prohibited by Federal law.

I looked through all the Indiana codes involving firearms and they mention nothing besides the obvious: schools, govt facilities, and posted 'No Firearms' signs. I personally CC wherever I want, bar, mall, whatever. I just don't carry in places where it is stated not to. If you want a real answer I would just go to the sheriff's dept and ask.

It is my understanding that it is legal to carry into a bar. I think the public areas of the statehouse would be legal unless otherwise posted.
Carrying while intoxicated? Don't know if it is against the law, but I'd sure as hell never do it myself or allow a friend to do it.

Sadly, law enforcement agencies aren't typically qualified to give opinions on the law. Those who enforce the law rarely know it well enough to give accurate answers. I had one Clayton cop try to convince me that carrying a 1911 cocked and locked was a violation of Indiana law. He went back to his car and started flipping through a book while his partner watched me and a third officer wrote me a ticket but never came back and arrested me.

If you're really curious, I'd call a few DAs and get opinions from them.

as far as the drinking and carrying, I don't do it..never have but have heard that its illegal....I just want to know the full extent of it....
