Pistol you love

Response to pistols you hate.
What is your favorite one that you actually fired; not one a friend has or one you saw in a magazine.

For me it is a Lorcin .32 ACP. Yea, I know its a Lorcin and Lorcin seem to be popular whipping boys but this was the most comfortable pistol I ever shot. Ft my hand like a glove.

I am no gun snob, but my favorite pistol I own is my XD45 service-- shoots so naturally and I have had not a single issue with it since I bought it in 2006..

As far as other pistol I rate high, actually had a Raven MP25 that was a little tank-- probably shot a few thousand through it before I sold it (for $150!?!?) and all I ever replaced on it was a couple of firing pins and a mag (that I bent the fool out of stepping on)...cheap and good, but the ammo was too high...

As far as pistols I have shot that I do not own, I had a Beretta M9 in Cuba that had a pure butter action-- not sure if a previous Marine had done an unauthorized trigger job, but it was smooth and even with almost zero creep and probably a 3.5-4 pound pull-- -got spoiled on that one..when I got to the Fleet, my issue M9 was not so nice..:)

I would have to say the gun that I have owned that was the most pleasureable to shoot would have to be a CZ-52:D

For me it is my Ruger Mark III .22lr.

Although it is more of a squirrel stopper rather than a man stopper, it allows me to do what I enjoy most --shoot targets, cheap and accurate.

It has a scope mount for when I want to shoot longer ranges, and it has iron sights for short range practive.

I love my Kimber Compact 1911 for shooting, CCW and home protection. But the one gun I would keep if I could only have one, would be my Ruger SP101 3" 357 - versatility and reliability.

So far a SS Ruger GP100. Mine has a great trigger, shoots wonderfully, and wouldn't be out of place on any adventure. Looks good too.
Oh, the SS Ruger MKII is a close call. It only loses b/c it is not a man stopper.

It would be my S&W 686-3 pre lock with a 6 in barrel. Great trigger, accurate, classic look and feel. Its close between that and my vintage K-22 but the 686 has the versatility. I have several revolvers and a MKIII, glock 19 etc but the 686 is my favorite hand gun that I own.
